Taipei so far/ Weekend

Hello All!!
I'm slowly beginning to adjust to the time difference here in Taipei, but am still very exhausted with all of the new changes; It has been good in the fact that I have been able to fall asleep so easily every night! Over the weekend, I met Mei's sisters. Her elder sister showed me around Tai Da Univiestiy which is a really beautiful university and the Harvard of Taiwan. We then went out to eat with all of Mei's sister's and her youngest nephew and I was able to try some traditional Taiwan food. On Sunday I went to a Catholic church service which was very beautiful and spoken in English, so I could understand it. I ended up getting a little lost on my way to the church, but it was an adventure asking for directions. After the church service, I went home and took a nap! We then went to the Chang Kai Shek memorial which was impressive, and I got to see the changing of the guards. I also got to here all about the complicated history of Taiwan, which I found very interesting. On Monday I was able to switch my classes into a more advanced level Chinese class... I also got a taste of what the night markets are like. I'm looking forward to exploring them more since there are so many of them in Taipei. Well that is all for now... I'm going to post some photos of my weekend adventures!
