Reunions!!

Hello All! So I've just started working reunions this weekend, which is both exhausting and fun. Yesterday and today I got to do housekeeping, which involved cleaning the resident halls and people's room; that was not easy to say the least. It has been fun getting to live in Emily's room and just hang out and not have to worry about school or academics. I know that these next two weeks are going to fly by. I've started reading other people's blogs on Taiwan and am so excited to explore the city of Taipei. I'm just looking forward to living in an actual city for the first time in my life. Will write more later, but life here is pretty good!

Babies!!!

Tonight I went to see the movie Babies with Jules and absolutely LOVED it.... it was such a sweet, funny, and wonderful movie to watch.... I wasn't sure what to expect when I went to see it being as though it was a documentary, but I loved all of the different personalities and lives that were documented through these babies. It is definitely a movie that I would recommend to all! It also came out on the perfect weekend, Mother's Day. Well I should get to studying some Chinese, but wanted to post on this amazing film!

Last Day of Classes

Today was officially my last day of classes!! I am exhausted, but am also relieved being as though I'm so close to being done. It also means that I am so much closer to being in Taiwan which is both exciting and scary, but tonight I think I am going to just relax and not worry about anything and just enjoy the wonderful weather of spring and take a break from my studies for a bit.I heard from Mei Wen, the woman I will be staying with in Taiwan so that was nice to be able to connect with her over e-mail.

My Beginning

Hello! I've created this blog to journal my adventures across Asia this summer. I will be leaving for Taipei Taiwan on May 31st and arriving in Taipei on June 1st. I'm counting the days until I will be leaving. This week I found out that I was accepted into the program that I will be studying at this summer, so that was a huge relief. I still have about six more days of the school year until I am officially finished, so I will write more later, but I wanted to begin the blog before I left to keep everyone updated on my upcoming adventures.
